How to make the perfect cheese board

Christmas time= Food time!

With it only being a couple of days left until Christmas day is here, I thought I share my favourite part. Cheese is my favourite and is my favourite part of Christmas along with the rest of the delicious food. So in today’s post is all about cheese boards, what to include and making your cheese and biscuits tasty scrumptious.

The selection boxes are great, with a variety of different types of biscuit with different flavours, shapes and sizes. Or you can buy separate packs, I found some with a chilli flavour in Tesco which are amazing!

I love a good selection of cheese, in this board I used 4, a smoked cheese, Wensleydale & Cranberry, Cheddar & Chive and Camenbert. It’s good to have a mixture of flavours of strong and mild tastes, I love chilli cheeses and Blue Stilton.

3.Chutney’s & Jam’s

For an extra slither of flavour chutney’s are great, the ones I’ve found are great are the Cook & Co Fine Foods, from Tesco. There are so many to choose from too, ranging from sweet, spicy or the perfect savoury jam. It tastes delicious on top pf the cheese or a spread on the cracker.

4.Fruits & Veggies

If you bad at including fruits and veg in your diet this is a fab opportunity it really compliments the cheesey taste. Here is a list of the ones I like to include:

- Grapes

- Fig

- Celery

- Spring onions

- Strawberry

- Date

- Apple

- Tomato

- Cucumber

- Olives

My favourite part of these are building them, it’s such a creative thing to do and get your taste buds going. Now you’ve got the main bundle, grab your knives, spoons and a big chopping board and get building your perfect bite.

Did this help? Let me know in the comments what’s your favourite cheese? And what do you add in your cheese boards?

Merry Christmas!
